Basil C. Genetos, M.D.

Dr. Basil Genetos began his cardiology practice in Fort Wayne in 1978 and was one of the co-founders of Fort Wayne Cardiology in 1980. He specializes in clinical cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and interventional cardiology.

  • Assistant clinical professor of medicine at Indiana University Medical Center and Indiana University Medical Center at Fort Wayne.
  •  Past president of Parkview Hospital medical staff.
  • Past president of Indiana University Medical Alumni Council.
  • Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
  • Medical director of Parkview Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Department.
  • One of the first cardiologists in Fort Wayne to perform coronary interventions.

  • Served his cardiology rotation at Cardiology Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
